I am so excited about getting closer to the release day of Summoning Up Love. The first book in my new Heart and Soul Series with Harlequin Special Edition.
I don’t know if you know, but the inspiration for this book came from a Tweet. Well, a Tweet after I watched a television show. I’m a fan of paranormal television. I have lost countless hours watching Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and The Originals. I’ll also get caught up in shows that talk about the unknown or vague theories such as Expedition Unknown and Ancient Aliens.
Well, one day I came across a show called Ghost Brothers on the Travel Channel, and I was immediately hooked. Three handsome Black dudes investigating ghosts! Yes please!
I tweeted that someone needed to write this story and, well, decided to write it myself. The Heart and Soul Series was born. While the three guys in Ghost Brothers aren’t brothers in real life, I happen to love family series and decided to make my ghost investigators real brothers. I had so much fun writing this book. It’s a contemporary romance with just a sprinkling of paranormal. Just three handsome dudes investigating the unknown and finding love along the way.
I can’t wait for release day on April 26 when I can share the book of my heart with my readers.
