I’ve gotten the cover for A Heart to Heal and I love it! It’s simple but sexy and deserving of a celebration!
It’s my way of thanking you, my readers, for your support this past year as I’ve published my first three books. You guys have really shown me love and I want to take the time to show my appreciation.
I really love A Heart to Heal because the heroine, Shayla Monroe, is unconventional. She’s both selfish and considerate and doesn’t always make the right decision, but her reasons behind her decisions are never malicious.
So to celebrate my unconventional heroine and show appreciation to my readers, I’m giving away an Advanced Review Copy (ARC) of A Heart to Heal!
Just comment below telling me why you do, or don’t, love unconventional heroines. You must be a follower of my blog to win (sign up in the upper right hand corner). I’ll pick the winner using Random.org on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. All I ask in return is an honest review once the book releases May 6.
This is just the start of a month-long party for my third book. There’ll be giveaways on my Facebook page and book discussions, so stay tuned.
Thanks again, y’all and good luck. Oh…and here’s the cover and the blurb 🙂
Shayla Monroe fled her hometown of Helena, South Carolina, after a shocking situation broke the heart of the only guy she’d ever loved. Years later, after losing her job in Atlanta with her name once again shrouded in scandal, she has nowhere to go but home.
Now a devastatingly handsome and well-respected man, Devin Jones became a successful doctor as a way to forget Shayla’s betrayal. When she returns as infamously as she left, he plans to put aside old feelings and treat her as any other person in town. But after looking into her soft brown eyes, the feelings he thought long dead quickly rush to the surface.
Ignoring rumors, disapproval from family and friends, and promises to avoid each other, the two become friends … then lovers. Devin wants all or nothing, but Shayla, haunted by her past, is afraid their relationship will damage what’s left of her reputation. Can two broken hearts survive the fight against past and present demons to heal and find love?
Hi, Synithia
I cant wait for shayla story…I have enjoyed both of your books.. just coming by showing some live…I love the cover
I’m so excited and can’t wait for this to be released! I think it really adds to a story when the heroine is unconventional. As the reader, you may be expecting the protagonist to do one thing, but they actually go in the opposite direction. Keeps you on your toes!
P.S. I don’t subscribe to your blog via email updates, but through the WP reader and my Google Reader. Does that still count? 🙂
That counts, Mel! And yes, I like protagonists that keep you guessing. In Shayla’s case she often made me wonder what she was thinking…and I wrote her!
Love the way they are gazing into each other’s eyes on the cover and the smiles say something sweet about their relationship. The blurb sounds great, too! I could read forever with just my Crimson sisters’ awesome books! Best of luck with A HEART TO HEAL!
Hi Synithia…would love a copy and love unconventinal as I feel I am that type of person. Anything off the wall takes my fancy immediatly…
Thanks in advance Deb…
Synithia, I have read your first two books. I am on the edge of my chair…I cannot wait until May 1st. I have been checking Amazon and facebook on a daily basis just to see if you have released your next book. Thanks for the blurb, now I am really about to pass out!
Kathy D.
I am sooo looking forward to reading your next book. I love an unconventional heroine because you never know which direction there going to go and to me that makes a great cat and mouse love romance story. Sometimes it’s good to get away from the same everyday heroine and make her a little bit challenging.
Synithia I love your books and have definitely become a fan. I love unconventional heroines because most of us are unconventional!! The issues that make us unconventional make for a great story.
Thanks everyone for showing interest in my third book! I’m very excited about this release. The winner of the eARC (chosen using random.org) is Kathy Dorhan!! Congratulations! I’ll email you shortly!
